Open positions

The research partners within AQuRA have several open PhD, postdoc and researcher positions. In all positions you will work in leading research groups on projects at the forefront of a flourishing research field. AQuRA partners are developing some of the worlds most precise and accurate instruments. In these positions you will acquire deep knowledge of ultracold quantum gases, optical clocks, precision measurement, quantum many-body physics and laser physics. You will have the chance to make essential contributions to topics that have repercussions ranging from fundamental physics, to astronomy, geology, navigation and cm precision positioning in future 5G cellphone networks. While working on the experimental positions you will acquire skills that are useful anywhere in our technological world, such as laser, optics, vacuum technology, electronics, software, data analysis, etc. Working in the AQuRA collaboration, you will be embedded in a lively network of physicists and engineers brimming with ideas and have the possibility of extended stays at  partner institutes giving you the opportunity to learn about and contribute to different aspects of the project and to experience different European cultures.
